Jack & Natalie McDonald: The Heart and Soul of Into the West

High school sweethearts turned business partners, Jack and Natalie McDonald have spent the last 35 years working together, sharing a passion for furniture design. Over the years, they've raised their three children, Megan, William, and Baxter, in the DFW area, before recently making a peaceful escape to the lake and golf course. They’re still close to their roots in the Stockyards and frequently enjoy spending time in Cabo San Lucas.

Their love for custom design keeps them energized and connected with customers, turning a blank canvas into a beautifully furnished home. "Every home has a story, and we want our furniture to help tell it," they share. Their legacy is built on crafting pieces that fit perfectly into each customer’s life and home.

Megan McDonald-Shurbet is a Fort Worth native and a proud TCU graduate, and she’s the glue that holds everything together at Into The West. As the International Buyer and head of social media, press, and customer service, Megan thrives on making deep connections with clients, both in-store and online. "The best part of my job is building relationships with customers and making them feel like family," says Megan.

Despite a busy schedule, she also manages to juggle being a mom of two under two—Jude and Poppy—while teaching dance, judging competitions, and even making guest appearances on 95.9 The Ranch. You can always count on her to two-step her way through the Stockyards in true Fort Worth fashion.
